Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico. She is an American Mexican actor. She also sings. She was raised by her mother, in the USA. She was subjected to racial insults, she was being made to feel unwelcome. If she attended an event at school and was given great praise for her performance when she was in the ninth grade she began to grow more confident. This not only increased the confidence of her, but also changed the direction she pursued in her career. She attended the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. In 1993, she had her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was called You've Got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot she portrayed the role of Lady of The Lake and won both the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. In the year following, she joined the ABC show Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider appreciation for her performance. Alongside having a cult following as a singer, she released a solo as well as an extended version. In addition, she has spoken out in support of LGBT concerns.
